. . . that's probably a big part of
the reason why many of the seven million cars that pass within steps of our front door
annually, can't leave town without stopping and spending some time with us. In less than
six years, we've become the destination of thousands. We promise our customers something
new with every visit, and we aim to keep our promises. In addition to the convenience of
having someone else sell your crafts for you, we offer the following incentives for
becoming a part of our growing family.
The Craft Show
is located at the gateway of the Poconos ~ a bedroom community to executives in New York
City, the East Coast's top four season tourist area and site of thousands of mountain and
lakeside homes.
Milford, PA is a destination for many travelers
and day shoppers. The historic borough is lovely to walk around, offering fine dining, a
number of specialty and antique stores and the serenity that comes with being a small
mountain village.
The Craft Show
is our way of bringing American crafters and the buying public together in a charming
informal atmosphere.
The 19th-century building that houses our
collection has recently been added to the National Registrar of Historic Homes. A
carriage house, a porch, and strolling garden add to the appeal of shopping in our store.
We are eight blocks from the Delaware River and
five minutes from the Pennsylvania Welcome Center to those coming from points east.
The staff of The
Craft Show knows each and every item in the store. Salespeople are
crafters themselves and know the value of the handmades in our collection.
Rent is charged on a monthly basis (with no
money up front) and we strive to keep our crafters with us but do not bind them to a lease
with any set length. January through March rent is charged perdiem so that cost the
crafter decreases when weather and traffic is unpredictable.
We realize that crafters are as unique as the
items that they create and rental agreements are made accordingly.
90% of our crafters have celebrated at least one
anniversary with us.
As a one location operation, CEO Barbara
Eisenberg guarantees each of her crafters the attention and recognition that they deserve.
The Craft Show
is a member of the Pike County Chamber of Commerce and Barbara serves on the Tourism
Committee. As Events Coordinator of the Milford Business Council, she strives to bring
more business and interest to the area.
Our service fee is just 8% of your total sales,
and includes all credit card transactions, special order processing and other offerings.
